Hunter Engineering has introduced the HawkEye Elite Xpandable configuration, a future-proof alignment and ADAS system that’s expandable to Hunter’s Ultimate ADAS for laser-guided static calibrations.
“HawkEye Elite X provides a scalable foundation for a profitable alignment business that includes steering system resets and dynamic calibrations today, with the option to expand into a profitable static ADAS calibrations business in the future,” said Alan Hagerty, Hunter alignment product manager.
Made in the U.S., the Xpandable configuration comes standard with Quick Grip adapters, WinAlign software, and a specs database. It also includes the ADASLink diagnostic scan tool, which features secure gateway ability for dynamic calibrations, pre- and post-scans, and steering system resets. Additionally, it offers aligner remote viewer and control capability anywhere in the bay.
Hunter said the HawkEye Elite X offers automotive repair shops the opportunity to future-proof their hardworking businesses by investing in a scalable solution for alignment, diagnostics, and ADAS.
The included ADASLink scan tool allows shops to immediately begin performing dynamic resets, in addition to diagnosing trouble codes, running special tests, and coding/pairing new parts.
Then, the new configuration provides a seamless upgrade to Hunter’s Ultimate ADAS static calibration system, which cuts target setup time by up to 70% through laser-guided precision.
The HawkEye Elite X features include Hunter’s standard-setting WinAlign software, the most extensive North American vehicle information database with step-by-step, vehicle-specific procedures, as well as easy bay-to-bay mobility, large storage capacity, a flat-top working surface, and a 32-inch widescreen monitor.
