WASHINGTON - Electric vehicle company ZAP will supply the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with a fleet of Zaptruck XL, a versatile 100-percent plug-in electric truck. The FAA will take delivery of the vehicles in September at a major metro center in the Midwest.
ZAP CEO Steven Schneider said the company has been responding to a large number of municipal and governmental RFQs for vehicles of a similar nature, delivering to cities, counties, hospitals, colleges, park districts, corporations, and small businesses.
