ROBINSON
WOODSTOCK, GA - Dave Robinson, safety and compliance officer for Transport Solutions of America (TSOA), has been granted certification as a Certified Director of Safety (CDS) from the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI).
Robinson is one of 31 CDS-qualified professionals in the state of Georgia, out of a total 950 CDS titleholders in the U.S. With the safety certification, Robinson can now help TSOA clients improve their overall safety status results and DOT compliance issues.
"I will be glad to provide our clients with a detailed analysis of their overall safety and DOT compliance policies and help them correct or prevent any safety problems they may have," said Robinson. "We all need to help each other to achieve the highest standards of commercial transportation safety on our nation's highways."
TSOA provides professional driveaway, truck carrier transportation, and storage services for the corporate fleet and leasing industry.
NATMI provides internationally-recognized, university-affiliated, professional certification and training seminars for truck, bus, and transit fleet professionals. The certification requires a minimum of five years transportation safety experience and certifications in both Motor Fleet Safety Basics and Managing Motor Fleet Safety Programs. The applicant must also pass a 100-question transportation safety test and provide an extensive transportation safety exhibit detailing and proving all documentation, effectiveness and capabilities of the applicant's tenure as a transportation safety professional. NATMI requires re-certification every three years.
