Southwest Products announced the opening of its new sales, parts, and service center in southwest Washington, bringing its lineup of specialty vocational trucks and commercial generators to the Northwest.

SWP manufactures customized service trucks, industrial tanks, and generator sets for many applications. The company has experienced the largest area of growth in their customizable lube trucks, and during the past two years production has nearly doubled. No longer just a regional manufacturer focused mainly on customers in Arizona and southern California, SWP is also a newly-named Diamond Distributor for IMT in the Northwest. IMT produces highly durable, quality mechanics trucks in an assortment of chassis sizes, crane extensions, and tank options. The new sales and service team already has truck inventory at their new Ridgefield, Wash. location.

“As we continue to expand our production and sales force, the timing is excellent to begin providing these specialty trucks and generators to customers in this region, primarily because we are seeing a higher demand for both in many Northwest industries,” said Kevin Burnette, President of Southwest Products. “With new construction projects and the housing market picking up, as well as expanding telecom and energy markets, we believe there is a sizable need for vocational trucks and power generation in the region.”

A wide range of commercial, industrial, home, and towable diesel and gaseous generators will also become available through SWP’s new Northwest location in the coming months. Their Value Plus, Quiet Power, and mobile generators are used largely for events, emergency power, rentals, job site power, and at construction sites and healthcare facilities.
