The 2014 Fleet Safety Conference has been scheduled for July 22-23 in Schaumburg, Ill., as the only conference designed specifically to help professionals reduce risk, minimize liability, and improve the safety of their fleets.
Attendees of the Fleet Safety Conference include professionals who work in fleet management, risk, safety, sales, human resources and EHS (environment, health and safety).
The conference, now in its third year, will offer sessions for light- to heavy-duty vehicle fleets. Content around heavy-duty fleet topics continues from the 2013 conference. Sessions will cover timely topics for commercial and public-sector fleets.
The 2014 conference schedule is currently in the works, but you can sign up for e-mail updates at the Fleet Safety Conference website. To submit a topic or volunteer as a speaker, visit this Web page.
Attendees of the 2013 Fleet Safety Conference included a diverse group of safety professionals, who shared their best fleet safety practices and heard from experts about new technologies and case studies.
"The wealth of information and interactions by speakers, panelists, sponsors and attendees assures everyone finds the niche of information they are looking for — and then some," said Rick Ravelo, fleet administrator with Fidelity National Financial. "I first attended by myself, and this year I was able to include someone from our risk department. My goal for 2014 is to add someone from HR. After all, if we all just do what we can, how many lives can we save?"
