ROUSH CleanTech announced the recent appointment of Eric Bates as director of strategic accounts. In this role, Bates aims to increase the number of ROUSH CleanTech trucks and vans in Fortune 500 fleets fueled by economical, environmentally friendly, domestic propane autogas.
“Eric brings years of propane autogas industry expertise to the table, and we are delighted to have him join our company,” said Todd Mouw, vice president of sales and marketing for ROUSH CleanTech. “His wealth of industry knowledge will benefit our ever-increasing list of fleet customers.”

A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, Bates comes to ROUSH CleanTech with more than 20 years in the propane industry. Bates filled numerous strategic roles in his years at Ferrellgas, the nation’s second largest provider of propane energy solutions. One of the highest producing account managers in the company’s history, Bates’ varied responsibilities included director of national accounts, national director of autogas, and director of sales in the western region. Additionally, Bates served as autogas business development manager and senior national account manager in his years serving the propane distributor.
“I am happy to be joining ROUSH CleanTech and look forward to sharing my years of propane industry experience and knowledge with ROUSH CleanTech and its customers,” said Bates. “I hope to continue setting sales records in my new position at ROUSH CleanTech to lead the country in the right direction of fueling with clean, abundant and American-made energy sources like propane autogas.”
