Chrysler

• Recall Number: 59C

• Vehicles: 2019-2021 Ram ProMaster and 2019-2020 Dodge Journey

• Potential Units Affected: 219,577

• Component: Back over prevention

• Breakdown: Cracks in the microprocessor may cause the vehicle's rearview camera image not to display properly.

• Solution: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed beginning Sept. 30, 2025.

Ford

• Recall Number: 25C42

• Vehicles: 2025 Explorer and Aviator

• Potential Units Affected: 213,121

• Component: Exterior lighting

• Breakdown: When towing a trailer, the tail lights on the trailer may fail to illuminate due to an improperly manufactured body control module.

• Solution: Dealers will replace the body control module C on vehicles with less than 9,000 miles. For vehicles over 9,000 miles, dealers will perform a functional check on the body control module C and replace it as necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Oct. 13, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated April 2026.

• Vehicles: 2024-2026 Ranger

• Potential Units Affected: 100,900

• Component: Air bags

• Breakdown: The side curtain air bags may contact the B-Pillar inner reinforcements and tear during deployment.

• Solution: Dealers will install protective shields, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Sept. 8, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated December 2025.

• Vehicles: 2025-2026 F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, and 2025 F-150

• Potential Units Affected: 355,656

• Component: Electrical system

• Breakdown: The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail at startup.

• Solution: The instrument panel cluster software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Sept. 2, 2025.

• Recall Number: 25C37

• Vehicles: 2022 F-150

• Potential Units Affected: 1,278

• Component: Exterior lighting

• Breakdown: The parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated. 

• Solution: Dealers will replace the light emitting diode control module and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 15, 2025.

• Recall Number: 25S82

• Vehicles: 2023-2025 F-150

• Potential Units Affected: 103,174

• Component: Powertrain

• Breakdown: The rear axle hub bolt may fatigue and break, which can result in damage to the axle hub splines.

• Solution: Dealers will replace the left and right rear axle shaft assemblies, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Aug. 22, 2025. Final owner notification letters will be mailed in phases, beginning Aug. 22, 2025. Owner notification letters were mailed Aug. 22, 2025. The parts are anticipated to be available in the fourth quarter of 2025.

• Vehicles: 2025 F-150 hybrid

• Potential Units Affected: 56,473

• Component: Seat belts

• Breakdown: When the driver or passenger's seat belt is not buckled and the vehicle is started, the audible warning chime may not activate as intended. 

• Solution: Dealers will update the audio control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Aug. 15, 2025.

• Vehicles: 2025 Lincoln Navigator, F-150, Expedition, Bronco, and Ranger 

• Potential Units Affected: 312,120

• Component: Service brakes, hydraulic

• Breakdown: The Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module may malfunction while driving or when the driver is utilizing an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature, resulting in a loss of power brake assist.

• Solution: The EBB module software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on Aug. 22, 2025.

• Recall Number: 25C33

• Vehicles: 2025 Lincoln Aviator 

• Potential Units Affected: 23,111

• Component: Visibility

• Breakdown: When closing the windows with the global closing feature, the side rear windows may exert excessive force when encountering an object, before they automatically reverse.

• Solution: Dealers will update the driver door module (DDM) and the passenger door module (PDM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Sept. 15, 2025.

Nissan

• Recall Number: R25C3

• Vehicles: 2025 Nissan Frontier

• Potential Units Affected: 13,719

• Component: Exterior lighting, engine, and engine cooling

• Breakdown: Due to a software logic error, the daytime running lights may dim unexpectedly when the idle start-stop feature cycles the engine from off to on.

• Solution: Dealers will update the engine control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 17, 2025.

Rivian

• Recall Number: FSAM-1723

• Vehicles: 2025 R1S and R1T

• Potential Units Affected: 23

• Component: Electrical system

• Breakdown: An improperly grounded connection inside the High Voltage Distribution Box (HVDB) may cause a loss of drive power.

• Solution: Rivian will inspect and repair the HVDB ground strap joint or replace the high voltage battery pack as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 3, 2025.

Medium- & Heavy-Duty Recalls

Altec

• Recall Number: CSN-3244

• Vehicles: 2024-2025 Aerial Device and Digger Derrick

• Potential Units Affected: 124

• Component: Structure

• Breakdown: The front winch bumper may be secured with incorrect bolts, which can cause the bumper to detach from the vehicle.

• Solution: Altec will replace the bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 10, 2025.

• Recall Number: CSN-3242

• Vehicles: 2025 AP Series

• Potential Units Affected: 45

• Component: Service brakes, air

• Breakdown: The brake air line compression fitting may not be tightened correctly, which can allow the supply line or other air lines to detach and cause the chassis emergency brakes to engage.

• Solution: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the brake air lines. If the lines are improperly secured, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to secure the lines. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct.3, 2025.

Fontaine Modification

• Component: Steering

• Breakdown: Welds may crack and fail, allowing the Intermediate steering shaft assembly to detach from the steering column.

• Solution: Fontaine Modification will replace the intermediate steering shaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 2025.

Heil

• Recall Number: N/A

• Vehicles: 2018-2020 front-end loader garbage trucks

• Potential Units Affected: 1,360

• Component: Equipment

• Breakdown: Excessive vibrations may cause the front head hydraulic tubes to leak.

• Solution: Heil will install stabilizing clamps, new hydraulic tubes, and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 8, 2025.

• Vehicles: 2021-2022 front-end loader garbage trucks

• Potential Units Affected: 408

• Component: Equipment

• Breakdown: The vertical welds on the automatic front loader (AFL) arm may be missing, causing the arm to crack and fall.

• Solution: Heil will inspect and repair or replace the AFL arm as necessary, free of charge. All affected trucks were repaired by July 28, 2023.

• Component: Fuel system, other

• Breakdown: The fuel shutoff solenoid may fail, resulting in an engine stall while driving.

• Solution: Heil will remove the CNG automatic shutoff solenoid, free of charge. All repairs will be performed free of charge. All affected trucks were repaired by Aug.12, 2024.

• Vehicles: 2020-2023 Side Loader garbage trucks

• Potential Units Affected: 5

• Component: Electrical system

• Breakdown: The battery support bracket may break and damage the battery case, possibly resulting in a battery rupture.

• Solution: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the remedy is completed. Heil will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Aug. 11, 2025. 

International

• Recall Number: 25513

• Vehicles: 2026 MV

• Potential Units Affected: 1,175

• Component: Electrical system

• Breakdown: The battery interconnect cable may contact the auxiliary stud and hold-down bracket, causing a short circuit.

• Solution: Dealers will install three wind laces on the battery hold-down and add a J-bolt between each battery to ensure 3 mm of terminal clearance, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 13, 2025.

• Recall Number: 25508

• Vehicles: 2024-2026 LT and 2025 RH

• Potential Units Affected: 1,129

• Component: Service brakes, air

• Breakdown: The Hill Start Assist (HSA) exhaust port may become clogged, delaying or preventing the release of the service brakes.

• Solution: Dealers will relocate the HSA valve exhaust, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 29, 2025.

• Breakdown: The brake drum and steer axle combination are incompatible, which may cause a loss of brake function.
