The recalls are categorized as either pickup truck and van recalls or medium- and heavy-duty truck recalls and the manufacturers are listed in alphabetical order.

Pickup Truck & Van Recalls

Chysler

  • Recall Number: 02B

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Ram Promaster

  • Potential Units Affected: 27,744

  • Component: Seat belts

  • Breakdown: The driver seat belt warning light and audible chime may not activate as intended.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the driver seat belt buckle as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 12, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 12B

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L

  • Potential Units Affected: 9,433

  • Component: Exterior lighting, electrical system

  • Breakdown: When the master headlight switch is set to the auto position, the driver may be unable to quickly activate the high beams.

  • Solution: Dealers will reconfigure the vehicle high beam parameters, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 07B

  • Vehicles: 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • Potential Units Affected: 250

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: An improperly machined steering knuckle may separate between the ball joint and knuckle, causing the wheel to fall outward and resulting in a loss of control.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the steering knuckle, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 12, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 10B

  • Vehicles: 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • Potential Units Affected: 338,238

  • Component: Suspension, steering

  • Breakdown: The upper control arm ball joint and steering knuckle may separate and cause the wheel to fall outward, resulting in a loss of vehicle control.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the upper control arm pinch bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 12, 2024.

  • Potential Units Affected: 12,375

  • Component: Electrical system, exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: The wiring harness may have a poor connection, which can cause the left taillight and left turn signal to become inoperative.

  • Solution: The remedy is under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 3, 2024.

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Chrysler Pacifica, Ram 3500, Ram 3500 cab chassis, Ram 2500, Ram 4500 cab chassis, Ram 5500 cab chassis, 2023 Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a GVWR less than 10,000 lbs., and Chrysler Voyager

  • Potential Units Affected: 38,164

  • Component: Air bags, steering

  • Breakdown: The steering column control module may not be welded properly, which can prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in a crash.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 3, 2024.

Daimler Vans

  • Recall Number: VS3BEFHAU

  • Vehicles: 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

  • Potential Units Affected: 828

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The main wiring harness may chafe against the drive shaft and short circuit, which can result in a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect the routing of the main wiring harness and correct it, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 29, 2024.

  • Recall Number: VS3HVERSL

  • Vehicles: 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

  • Potential Units Affected: 99

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: A 12-volt ground connection may not be secured properly, which can result in the ground connection overheating and a loss of drive power.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the 12-volt ground connection, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 3, 2024.

Ford

  • Recall Number: 24C01

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Maverick Hybrid

  • Potential Units Affected: 62,813

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The Instrument Panel Cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 18, 2024.

  • Vehicles: 2024 Maverick

  • Potential Units Affected: 217

  • Component: Fuel system, gasoline

  • Breakdown: The fuel tanks may have an open pinch joint between the two molds, which can allow fuel to leak.

  • Solution: Owners are advised to park and shut off the engine immediately if a fuel leak is detected or the Malfunction Indicator Lamp illuminates. Dealers will replace the fuel tanks, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed March 15, 2024. A second notice will be sent once remedy parts become available, anticipated 2nd quarter of 2024.

  • Recall Number: 20C19

  • Vehicles: 2020 Explorer

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,988

  • Component: Back over prevention

  • Breakdown: Due to a poor electrical connection, the rearview camera may intermittently display a blank or distorted image.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 8, 2024

  • Recall Number: 24S10

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Bronco

  • Potential Units Affected: 7,527

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: The rear quarter glass panels may have been improperly installed to the vehicle hard top, which can allow them to detach.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear glass panels as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 8, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 24S15

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Bronco 4-door

  • Potential Units Affected: 9,847

  • Component: Latches/locks/linkages

  • Breakdown: The left-side rear door may be opened from the inside of the vehicle when the child safety lock is in the "ON" position.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect the child safety locks and replace the rear door latch, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 16, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 24S11

  • Vehicles: 2023 F-150 Lightning

  • Potential Units Affected: 216

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The fasteners that secure the junction box bus bars inside the high-voltage battery pack may not have been tightened securely, which can cause electrical arcing at the busbars.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the busbar fasteners and replace any damaged components as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on March 18, 2024.

  • Component: Tires

  • Breakdown: The tires may have been manufactured incorrectly, which may result in a loss of vehicle handling and control.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the tires, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 1, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 24S21

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Transit vehicles equipped with the Transit Trail package

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,902

  • Component: Tires

  • Breakdown: The tires may contact the front wheel arch liner and body flange, causing damage to the tires.

  • Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed March 27, 2024. A second notice will be sent once remedy parts become available.

General Motors

  • Recall Number: A232424660

  • Vehicles: 2023 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon

  • Potential Units Affected: 55,755

  • Component: Electrical system, forward collision avoidance

  • Breakdown: The front camera module (FCM) system may falsely detect an obstacle, causing the automatic emergency braking (AEB) to engage unexpectedly.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the front camera module (FCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 8, 2024.

Toyota

  • Recall Number: 24TA02 and 24LA02

  • Vehicles: 2022-2024 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, Lexus LX600, and 2023-2024 Sequoia hybrid vehicles

  • Potential Units Affected: 280,663

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: Unexpected vehicle movement may occur when the vehicle is in neutral and the brakes are not applied.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the transmission control ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 7, 2024.

  • Recall Number: 24TB05 and 24TA05

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Tacoma

  • Potential Units Affected: 381,199

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The axle shaft sub-assembly may separate from the axle housing due to debris causing improperly secured fasteners.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect the rear axle assembly, tighten the axle retaining nuts as necessary, and repair or replace any damaged components, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2024.

Medium- & Heavy-Duty Truck Recalls

Autocar

  • Recall Number: DC-2401

  • Vehicles: 2020-2024 DC (Legend)

  • Potential Units Affected: 586

  • Component: Service brakes, air

  • Breakdown: A software error may cause the low air pressure warning to not function properly.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the low air pressure warning software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 26, 2024.

Ford

  • Recall Number: 24S09

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 F-650 and F-750

  • Potential Units Affected: 18,244

  • Component: Parking brake

  • Breakdown: The parking brake may malfunction and allow the lever to be released without pressing the release button.

  • Solution: The remedy is still under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 8, 2024.

Isuzu

  • Recall Number: V2401

  • Vehicles: 2019-2024 FTR, 2020-2024 Chevrolet LCF 6500XD, 2022-2024 FVR, and 2023-2024 Chevrolet LCF 7500XD vehicles equipped with a Mobileye Collision Warning System.

  • Potential Units Affected: 2,891

  • Component: Forward collision avoidance, electrical system

  • Breakdown: The Mobileye camera cable may have been routed improperly, which can result in wiring damage and an overloaded electrical circuit.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and reroute the Mobileye camera cable or replace the Mobileye camera cable and T-harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 29, 2024.

Mack

  • Recall Number: SC0458

  • Vehicles: 2022-2024 Granite

  • Potential Units Affected: 10

  • Component: Service brakes, air

  • Breakdown: The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system.

  • Solution: Dealers will add additional air tank volume, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 15, 2024.

  • Recall Number: SC0460

  • Vehicles: 2024 MD6 and MD7

  • Potential Units Affected: 117

  • Component: Parking brake

  • Breakdown: The park brake light may indicate the incorrect brake status due to an incorrect park brake pressure switch.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the brake pressure switch as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 26, 2024.

  • Component: Equipment

  • Breakdown: The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded.

  • Solution: Dealers will provide new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 26, 2024.

  • Recall Number: SC0461

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 LR natural gas vehicles

  • Potential Units Affected: 106

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The methane detector may be inoperative due to a missing fuse.

  • Solution: Dealers will install a fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 24, 2024.

Navistar

  • Recall Number: 24505

  • Vehicles: 2025 International HV, HX, LT, and MV

  • Potential Units Affected: 272

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: The steering gear sector shaft may have been improperly heat-treated, which can cause the gear teeth to crack or fracture.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the steering gears, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 29, 2024.

Paccar

  • Recall Number: 24KWD

  • Vehicles: 2009-2021 Kenworth C500, 2014-2015 Kenworth T440, 2009-2015 Kenworth T660, 2015-2024 Kenworth T680, 2009-2024 Kenworth T800, 2013-2023 Kenworth T880, 2016 Kenworth T470, and 2009-2019 Kenworth W900

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The right-hand gear shifter stalk connectors may have been improperly crimped, resulting in a loss of communication.

  • Breakdown: Inadequate clearance may allow the hood to contact the main electrical fuse terminal.
