MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO – Progressive Insurance is giving truckers across the country the opportunity to be recognized for their everyday courage with the Real Life Trucking Hero Contest. From April 1 until October 31, Progressive will award six cash prizes of $1,000, one of whom will win $15,000 and the title of “Real Life Trucking Hero.”

“Truckers help keep this country running, and deserve to be recognized for their efforts,” said Tom Corpus, Commercial Auto product manager at Progressive. “The Real Life Trucking Hero Contest is our way of showing them our appreciation.” 

Anyone can nominate their favorite trucker, and for any reason. Whether someone has taken the time to help a motorist in need, made a delivery in record time or been a road warrior for several years, they could be a winner.
