National Truck Protection Inc. (NTP) is formulating coverage plans for natural gas engines.

“We are extremely excited to provide critical protection on natural gas engines as a logical extension to our award winning diesel engine coverage programs”, said Robert Amico, president of NTP. “According to the 2013 edition of the Annual Energy Outlook, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) forecasts that the use of natural gas in heavy-duty vehicles will offset the growth in diesel consumption. Given this trend, NTP wants to ensure it meets the ever changing needs of its customers while retaining a leadership position, so offering this type of comprehensive program will likely contribute to the company’s continued success.”
