Merchants Fleet Management has hired Candice Groth as director of purchasing for the Hooksett, N.H.-based fleet management company.
Groth leaves her role as director of operations with Element Fleet Management, where she was responsibile for the company's new vehicle ordering application. With Merchants, Groth will be focused on new vehicle acquisition. She will work to enhance the customer-facing experience and improve internal processes.
Groth started her career in fleet management in 1998, when she joined GE Capital's fleet services unit. Element purchased the unit in 2015. Since 1998, she has partnered with Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Nissan, and Volkswagen.
