ELKHART, IN – LEER, a manufacturer of fiberglass truck tops and tonneaus, has released the LEER Model 100XQ truck cap for the 2008 Ford Super Duty Short Bed, with or without the new ‘Step-Gate’ option. The Model 100XQ is the premium cap in the LEER lineup, featuring an all-glass rear door with hidden hinges and an exclusive LEER twist-handle lock, exclusive custom styling with skirted sides and finished edges, one-piece glass side windows with awning-style twist-out openings and screens, a recessed LED third brake light, interior headliner, and the LEER Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The Model 100XQ also offers a full range of options, including the new Thule Aero-Bar tapered aluminum roof rack, the traditional Thule Tracker II square bar roof rack, an interior gear net, keyless remote release, clothes hanger, a ceiling mounted lockable gear box, and additional 12V or battery dome light. The 100XQ is also an ideal platform for LEER Special Editions, like the “Fisherman Package,” the “Browning Package,” and the “Adventure Sports Package” that group popular options to suit the storage and transportation needs of outdoor sports enthusiasts.
