K&R Truck Sales, a full-service truck dealership in Western Michigan, has opened its new Goodyear retread tire operation in Flint, Michigan.
The new retread facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and experienced staff with several decades of experience, which the company said positions K&R Retread as a frontrunner in the tire industry. The retread plant is in addition to the full-service commercial, agriculture, OTR, and passenger tire applications in Holland, Michigan.
Key features of the new retread business operation, according to the company, include:
Radial commercial truck tires ranging from 225/75R16 all the way up to 445/65R22.5
Specializing in skid steer tires: 10-16.5 and 12-16.5
Specializing in vulcanizing OTR (off-the-road) tires
Offering section repairs on any farm tractor tire all the way up to big loader earth mover tires
Rim reconditioning
Tire service and sales
Roadside service
Hard tire pressing for forklifts and other material-handling equipment
Selling Goodyear, Cooper, and Roadmaster tires along with other brands
"We are excited to expand our tire operations into the retread market. This facility represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide solutions for our customers,” said Ed Rietman, owner, dealer principal.
