ANAHEIM, CA - The first and only low-cab-forward medium-duty trucks on the U.S. market to meet stringent new 2010 emissions regulations are about to receive nationwide recognition. Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc., has announced the ECO-Advantage Tour - a coast-to-coast showcase for the fuel-sipping, emissions-reducing technology found on the 2011 Isuzu NPR ECO-MAX.
Two versions of the NPR ECO-MAX will visit 135 locations between September 7 and November 17. The lightweight ECO-MAX Tool Pro is fitted with a recyclable aluminum utility body by The Reading Group, LLC. The streamlined ECO-MAX Aero Body features an aerodynamic van body from Supreme Corp.

Both models are powered by Isuzu's clean, efficient and powerful new 3.0-liter dual overhead camshaft, turbocharged diesel engine, which achieves 20 percent better fuel economy than the engine it replaces and meets strict EPA 2010 and CARB HD-OBD standards.
At each stop on the ECO-Advantage Tour, representatives of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America will be on hand to give product presentations and conduct training for local dealership sales, service and parts personnel. Representatives of Reading and Supreme will also be available to answer questions at select locations. Static displays with additional information will support the live presentations.
All of the stops on the tour are Isuzu Truck dealerships. But the audience is not limited to dealer personnel. The public and the truck media are invited to attend to learn more about these clean, sustainable, economical-yet powerful, practical and durable-new trucks.
"Whether you're a fleet manager, a small business owner, a journalist or just an interested member of the public, we'd love to see you at one of the stops on the tour," said Shaun Skinner, executive vice president and general manager of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America. "We want everyone with an interest in environmentally friendly truck design to see the state of the art in the industry and to experience these vehicles."
The ECO-Advantage Tour begins on Tuesday, September 7, with an appearance at Tom's Truck Center in Santa Ana, California. It winds its way up to the Pacific Northwest, then crosses the Great Plains and the Midwest, reaches New England and travels down the Eastern Seaboard to Florida before crossing the Sunbelt and eventually returning to Southern California with a final stop at Quality Isuzu in Escondido on Wednesday, November 17.
