Isuzu Manufacturing Services of America is recalling 3,564 2012-2014 model-year Reach van chassis because their brake light switches may be bent and susceptible to failure or corrosion, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.
To fix the problem, dealers will apply a protector and a waterproof cover with an extension harness. There will be no charge for this service.
Since remedy parts aren’t currently available, affected van owners will receive two notices: one informing them of the recall, another when parts are on hand at dealerships.
