Hunter Engineering to Exhibit HawkEye XL Aligner at TMC

Hunter Engineering will exhibit its HawkEye XL Commercial Alignment System at the ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. The company’s expo booth will host live demonstrations.

Following its highly successful debut at last year’s show and now available internationally, Hunter Engineering will exhibit the newly enhanced HawkEye XL Commercial Alignment System at the ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting next month in Nashville. 

Frequent live demos will take place in the company’s booth.

HawkEye XL & Long-Range Camera Technology

Designed for maximum speed, durability, and ease of use for a wide range of commercial vehicles, the HawkEye XL employs long-range camera technology to provide highly accurate measurements in four minutes or less.

The versatile XL handles heavy-duty, medium-duty, light-duty, and passenger vehicles.

Enhancements on Display at TMC

The aligner brings a number of recent enhancements to this year’s TMC Show, including:

  • Fixed column sensor configuration, providing for easier operation and installation in pit bays 

  • Capability to build custom axle configurations to easily align unique vehicle types

  • Reverse trailer ability, for backing in trailers with or without the truck connected

  • Wider maximum steering range, allowing for lock-to-lock steering measurements

  • Enhanced graphics and imagery

  • Increased speed with faster camera-to-target acquisition

Additional Tire Solutions on Display

Hunter will also be exhibiting its wide range of durable, productive and profitable heavy-duty wheel service equipment, including the TCX645 tire changer, with an updated carriage slide featuring rollers to demount 22.5-inch OTR tires; the Quick Check Commercial alignment and tire tread inspection system, the first touchless commercial inspection solution for measuring camber, total toe, tandem axle scrub and tire tread depth on all assemblies for all axles; the HD Elite wheel balancer; and more.
