The conference, which is at the Phoenix Convention Center Oct. 1-2, is the only conference geared specifically just for fleets, and highlights all the latest technologies, while providing workshops and seminars to learn about how to reduce your fleet’s emissions and petroleum use.

Some of the session highlights for each track include:

Commercial:
Aramark’s Small Steps toward Sustainability Yield Big Savings
If the thought of replacing just over half your fleet scares you, let the ARAMARK fleet team show you how they developed a plan for accomplishing exactly this through gradual changes that not only reduced overall spending but also increased the sustainability of their 3,100-vehicle fleet. You’ll walk away with tried and true best practices that can be applied to your fleet the day you return to the office.

Heavy-duty Truck:
Case Study: How the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Successfully Implemented Biodiesel into its Fleet Operations
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has gone to great expense to ensure that alternative fuels and their accompanying infrastructure are available at all its fueling sites. A key component of this effort is the agency’s 10-year-old biodiesel program. As a result of this program, 85% of the Port Authority’s fleet is considered “green.” This case study will demonstrate how the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey overcame initial user resistance and learned how to successfully address the growing pains typically associated with biodiesel.

Government:
How to Green Your Fleet When Funding is Scarce
Hear real-world examples of how different public sectors fleets were able to creatively fund alt-fuel vehicle acquisitions and move forward to meet their sustainability goals when funding was scarce.
