Go Power! — North America’s premier provider of solar and mobile power solutions for the trucking industry — launched its Dynamo Solar Generator Work Truck Solution at The Work Truck Shop 2020 in Indianapolis.

The Dynamo Solar Generator is the industry’s first silent, fuel-less solar-powered auxiliary power system, according to Go Power! It was engineered for utility vans and work vehicles and designed to run equipment without the need for generators or truck idling.

The Solar Dynamo system is made up of rugged, purpose-built components, including:

  • Dual 50-watt Solar Flex Panels. These thin, low profile panels can curve up to 30°. Rigorously tested for life in the field, they come with a five-year warranty.

  • 20-amp MPPT Solar Controller. Built to perform in tough environments, the MPPT Solar controller delivers smart, efficient battery management.

  • IC-2000 Inverter Charger. With a three-year warranty, the UL458 and UL1741-certified IC-2000 inverter charger is a 3-in-1 system with a built-in charger and transfer switch.

  • Lithium Battery Technology. This state-of-the art-battery bank delivers 200-amp hours of maintenance-free mobile power and comes with a 10-year limited warranty.

The Dynamo Solar Generator system is an ideal solution for work trucks, hydro rigs and communications providers servicing telephone lines and fiber optic installations.

“The Dynamo removes idling from the worksite entirely,” says Sean O’Conner, business development manager at Go Power! “It provides pure AC power to tools without a generator and is much more cost-effective than previous mobile power solutions.”

The Dynamo Solar Generator is scheduled to ship in Q2 2020.
