Fox Transportation to Deploy 100 Medium Duty CNG Trucks

Fox Transportation has signed an agreement with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. Fox plans to deploy 100 medium-duty natural gas trucks this year that will fuel at Clean Energy’s stations throughout Southern California.

“Our customers have relied on Fox Transportation for more than twenty years to provide the best logistics and pricing available, and to do so fairly, said CEO of Fox Transportation Mike Fox. “With natural gas fueling now a reality, we believe providing this cheaper and cleaner fuel option is the right business decision and will strengthen our long-term relationships with customers.”

According to Clean Energy Fuels, Fox Transportation plans to use approximately 600,000 gasoline-gallons-equivalent of CNG each year. Using this amount of fuel would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1,936 metric tons per year, Clean Energy Fuels stated.
