Free2move has introduced Connect Fleet, a platform designed to make fleet management safer, more efficient, and cost-effective. This tool monitors each vehicle and provides real-time insights to fleet managers, helping them run their fleets smoothly.
The Connect Fleet platform uses advanced vehicle connectivity to collect and display data on a digital dashboard. To help fleet managers make informed decisions to optimize their operations, the data includes:
GPS tracking.
Fuel usage.
Driving patterns.
Eco-driving tips.
A report by Frost and Sullivan highlights the impact of Connect Fleet, noting that it can reduce fuel consumption by 15%, serious collisions by 40%, the total cost of ownership by 30%, and vehicle immobility by 20%.
Benjamin Maillard, General Manager of Free2move North America, acknowledges the challenges fleet managers face.
"Managing unexpected breakdowns, optimizing routes, and implementing EVs are complex tasks. Our tool is designed to simplify these processes, ensuring safer and more efficient fleets," he said.
Security is a priority for Connect Fleet, which uses built-in technology or an aftermarket dongle to ensure reliable connectivity. The platform and app are customizable, catering to different business needs and simplifying fleet management.
Connect Fleet offers significant cost savings, with a 5% decrease in fleet management expenses. The platform is available in three packages: Connect Fleet One, Connect Fleet Plus, and Connect Fleet Premium, each offering various features such as real-time mileage and fuel monitoring, maintenance alerts, driver behavior analysis, and detailed reports.
To support the launch, Free2move is offering a free three-month trial of Connect Fleet for up to 20 vehicles per company. This trial aims to showcase the benefits of the platform and help businesses optimize their fleets.
Connect Fleet is part of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 plan, aimed at enhancing vehicle safety and keeping drivers informed.
