Chrysler Group is recalling an estimated 31,497 2014 model-year Ram ProMaster vans because of faulty head restraints.
The full-size vans were assembled with head restraints that may exceed the allowable gap between an occupant’s head and the restraint, Chrysler said. The automaker added that it is unaware of any injuries, accidents or complaints linked to the problem.
Chrysler Group is expediting acquisition of replacement parts. The company expects to notify van owners next month when they can schedule the repair work at a dealership. There will be no charge for the service.
