JEFFERSON CITY, MO – The National Biodiesel Board has launched a pair of efforts aimed at reaching out to the trucking industry and to those who want to “go green,” according to the Web site www/landlinemag.com. In late-August, the board partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on a program called “Grow & Go,” which will help connect shippers who want to ship green with truckers who use biodiesel.
The program, part of the EPA’s Smartway Transport Partnership, is designed to promote the use of biodiesel by getting at least 50 percent of the partners in the program to use renewable fuels by 2020.
