ARI has acquired Drivefleet, a provider of online driver training products and services, the fleet management company announced.
Drivefleet offers Web-based driver training courses that engage users in an interactive, two-way dialogue to promote knowledge retention and encourage more thoughtful, proactive drivers.

Modules offer lessons in simulated "real world" driving situations. Several newer modules even use high-definition imagery to simulate possible driving challenges. Courses cover topics such as defensive driving, preventing distracted driving, and economical driving techniques.
With this acquisition, Drivefleet's online courses will be integrated with ARI's systems to provide clients with a seamless safety solution, according to the fleet management company.
The Drivefleet team will be will be integrated with ARI's own Safety team to rapidly develop new offerings that are responsive to client and marketplace needs.
Global training solutions and training in multiple languages will allow fleets of every kind to offer comprehensive training tailored to fit their fleet's specific needs, which in turn will lead to safer drivers and lower fleet costs, according to ARI.
