Amerit Fleet Solutions has appointed Chris Moulden as senior vice president of safety. With more than two decades of experience shaping national safety standards, Moulden will lead the execution and continuous improvement of Amerit’s safety strategies across all operations nationwide.
In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and executing safety strategy, overseeing risk management and incident reduction, ensuring regulatory compliance, championing safety training and culture, and collaborating with customers to deliver continuous safety improvements.
“Chris brings a deep well of experience and proven leadership in workplace safety,” said Amein Punjani, Co-CEO of Amerit. “His vision and dedication to fostering a strong culture around safety will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve our operations across the country.”
Moulden’s Background & Experience
Amerit said that with more than 20 years of industry leadership, Moulden has been instrumental in advancing safety practices across the infrastructure industry, most recently as vice president of health, safety, and environment for two Primoris Service Corporation (PSC) segments—Utilities and Renewables.
In that role, he successfully scaled and strengthened the safety program amid what Amerit calls impressive company growth, while also ensuring operational integrity and risk mitigation at the highest level.
He has also held several other transformative safety roles, including senior corporate safety director for ARB, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Primoris Service Corporation, and corporate safety director for Performance Mechanical Inc., an Emcor company, where he cultivated a best-in-class culture of safety in high-stakes environments.
“I am honored to join Amerit during this exciting phase of its growth,” Moulden said. “Throughout my career, I have collaborated with organizations that define excellence in workplace safety. I look forward to building upon Amerit’s legacy and elevating safety, compliance, and performance to ensure Amerit continues to set the standard for the industry in operational integrity.”
Industry Involvement & Leadership
Beyond his executive leadership, Moulden’s influence extends across key industry organizations, including the Mechanical Contractors Association of America, the Contractors Assistance Association, the Construction Employers Association, and the Distribution Contractors Association.
Amerit’s Growth in 2025
This appointment exemplifies Amerit’s strong momentum in 2025, following the announcement of its partnership with New Mountain Capital. Amerit has recently acquired Vector Fleet Management to expand its service offering and broaden its fleet management capabilities, and appointed Ross Rachey as the company’s new chief operating officer.
