Amerit Fleet Solutions has acquired Vector Fleet Management, a company specializing in fleet maintenance and parts management for state and local government agencies and industrial fleets. The acquisition expands Amerit’s service capabilities while maintaining Vector’s existing operations and leadership.

“We are excited to welcome Vector Fleet Management to the Amerit family,” said Dan Williams and Amein Punjani, co-CEOs of Amerit Fleet Solutions. “By integrating Vector’s specialized services with our own, we can provide a unified approach that meets the diverse needs of our clients, from fleet maintenance and management to parts procurement.”

Vector to Operate as a Division of Amerit

Vector Fleet Management will continue operating under its current brand name, with Aubrey Felton, executive vice president of Vector Government, leading the division. Felton has been with the company for eight years and will oversee operations as Vector integrates into Amerit’s national fleet maintenance network.

Vector has built a reputation for providing tailored fleet maintenance solutions, including emergency response vehicle servicing, onsite parts management, and fleet asset management programs. The company has served government agencies and industrial fleets for 35 years.

“We are proud of the strong market reputation we have earned, and we are excited about the opportunities this partnership with Amerit presents,” said James Overstreet, CEO of Vector Fleet Management. “Amerit and Vector joining forces strengthens our ability to deliver innovative fleet solutions while continuing to focus on safety, service quality, and reliability.”

Financial and Investment Support

The acquisition was advised by Anderson LeNeave & Co., which served as the exclusive financial advisor to Vector and its investors.

Amerit is backed by New Mountain Capital, a New York-based investment firm with more than $55 billion in assets under management. The firm supports Amerit’s growth strategy through long-term investment in fleet maintenance and management solutions.
