Ford has recalled 151 of its 2018 F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks with hydraulic brake systems for an inadequate parking brake cable that could cause unintended movement.

The cable may not have adequate tension, and unintended movement increases the risk of an accident or injury.

Affected vehicles were built at the Ohio Assembly Plant between March 28 and April 17.

Dealers will adjust the parking brake cable to the proper tension at no cost. When operating a vehicle prior to repair, customers should make sure the transmission is secured in Park or the wheels are chocked before leaving the vehicle unattended.

The Ford reference number for this recall is 18C05.
