Fullbay rolled out several new tech enhancements during its annual Diesel Connect conference, held May 20-22 in Phoenix. The updates include the company’s first AI-powered tool, expanded integration with Mitchell1, and upgrades to Fullbay’s MOTOR and Payments platforms.

The event welcomed over 300 attendees and featured a deep dive into the current state of commercial repair. Fullbay’s new launches aim to help heavy-duty repair shops run more efficiently, with less guesswork and more automation.

Highlights from the Launch

Here’s what Fullbay introduced at Diesel Connect:

  • Fullbay AI – A new tool that simplifies how techs document repairs. Using either typing or talk-to-text, the system cleans up language for clearer, more professional job notes. Additional AI-powered features, such as shop performance reporting and predictive diagnostics, are in development.

  • Mitchell1 Integration – Fullbay now connects with Mitchell1’s TruckSeries for Class 4-8 vehicles and ProDemand for light-duty shops, providing users with access to labor times, parts information, and fluid specifications. This feature will be available through a separate subscription later this year.

  • MOTOR Enhancements – A sleeker, easier-to-navigate interface for FleetCross, making it faster to search parts, service, and repair data.

  • Fullbay Payments Upgrade – Enhancements that enable shops to handle refunds, disputes, and higher transaction volumes more efficiently. The tool is included with all Fullbay subscriptions.

A Push Toward Smarter Shops

“Presenting these products at Diesel Connect is a huge milestone for Fullbay and the work we’re doing to support independent and internal commercial repair shops,” said Patrick McKittrick, CEO of Fullbay. “Each of these launches is designed to make running a repair shop easier and more efficient.”
