ZEVX and Fastenal Set Sights on a Zero-Carbon Future

ZEVX produces battery electric power systems and data intelligence for e-mobility applications.

The company offers a range of battery electric powertrain and power system products designed to rapidly transition Class 2 to 5 commercial fleet assets and auxiliary power systems to a zero-carbon footprint.

Kevin Larson, Vice President of Transportation at Fastenal, emphasized their desire to drive innovation and efficiency within the commercial transportation sector, given the vast number of vehicles in operation worldwide.

He highlighted their continuous exploration of new solutions, such as ZEVX technology, to advance the industry and potentially expedite Fastenal's own efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Having completed the proof-of-concept stage, the announcement commences a six-state trial in 2023. ZEVX's battery-electric powertrain and power system products will be employed to retrofit up to 16 Fastenal vehicles.
