The next round of recalls features vehicles from General Motors and Maintainer Corporation of Iowa.

  • Certain 2021-2022 Chevrolet Equinox and 2022 GMC Terrain vehicles have been recalled for potential engine stalls increasing the risk of a crash. The fuel pump module may not consistently provide sufficient fuel to the engine, resulting in an engine stall. The fuel pump module has to be replaced at a dealership.
  • General Motors has also recalled 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, and GMC Sierra 2500, 3500 vehicles equipped with a dual fuel tank option. The rear fuel tank failure may cause an engine stall from the fuel pump preventing the transfer of fuel to the front tank. The fuel tank and fuel pump module need to be inspected at the dealer.
  • Maintainer Corporation of Iowa has recalled 2019-2023 Maintainer Service Trucks with Hydraulic Telescopic Cranes. During crane operation, if power gets disconnected to the receiver on the Maintainer crane, the crane may continue to move without control of the user. Losing control over the crane while it is moving may increase the risk of injury to the operator or those nearby.
