Jasper Engines & Transmissions has expanded the availability of GM Gen V AFM and AFM/DFM-Delete engines for late-model applications.
“These engines are available with an AFM-Delete, or second-generation DFM-Delete option, removing the cylinder deactivation technology,” said Brad Boeglin, JASPER New Product Development Group Leader. “Due to increased security measures in these recent applications, customers using AFM-Delete and DFM-Delete engines will be required to send their ECM in for an unlocking procedure before any modifications can be made.”

“JASPER has partnered with HP Tuners, an industry leader in calibrations, to help us offer a delete option for these late-model Global B applications,” Boeglin added. “Global B applications are currently 49-state compliant.”
The GM Gen V AFM and AFM/DFM-Delete engines are covered by a nationwide, transferable parts and labor warranty of up to three years or 100,000 miles. A full warranty disclosure is available on JASPER’s website or upon request.
