Cementex, known for its double-insulated safety tools, is putting the spotlight on its Battery Openers and Battery Seal Breaker, designed for high-voltage hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance.

These tools were built to give technicians a safer, more precise way to access and service advanced battery systems. The Battery Lid Poppers make opening battery lids controlled and secure, which help prevent damage while allowing for easy testing and repairs.

In addition, multiple blade sizes fit a range of battery designs, and the Valve Shroud Remover is especially useful for Deka Unigy batteries, removing valve shrouds efficiently without harming components.

The EV Battery Seal Breaker adds even more precision to the mix. Its radiused, serrated blade helps reduce cutting resistance, and a pull cable design improves control. Three interchangeable blades are included for long-term use, with replacements available to keep things cost-effective and efficient.

Made in the U.S.A. with both domestic and globally sourced materials, all Cementex double-insulated tools are tested to 10,000 volts and rated for live use up to 1,000 VAC/1,500 VDC. They comply with IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505 standards, helping professionals meet OSHA, NFPA 70E, and CSA-Z462 safety requirements.
