Yokohama Corporation of North America Announces Organizational Changes

Yokohama Tire Corporation of North America’s Jeff Barna has been promoted to president and CEO as Shinichi Takimoto returns to Japan with new responsibilities. Stan Chandgie has been named YCNA COO.

Yokohama Corporation of North America (YCNA) announced three organizational changes in key leadership positions effective immediately. Those changes involve Jeff Barna, Shinichi Takimoto, and Stan Chandgie each taking on new duties.

Barna: President & CEO of YCNA

Barna, president and CEO of Yokohama Tire Corporation (YTC), was promoted and will now also serve as President & CEO of YCNA, with expanded duties to support Yokohama Canada (YTV) and Yokohama Mexico (YTMX).

Takimoto: Head of Japan Tire Business 

Takimoto, who has served as chairman and CEO of YCNA for the past nine years, will assume the roles of Head of Japan Tire Business Division and Head of OE Tires Sales & Marketing Division for The Yokohama Rubber Co. (YRC) in Japan. He will maintain offices in both Hiratsuka and Shinagawa (Tokyo). 

“We sincerely thank Mr. Takimoto for his countless contributions in helping YCNA achieve its highest revenue earnings to date and elevating it to the most profitable entity within the entire YRC global network,” Barna said. 

Chandgie: YCNA COO

Chandgie, currently serving as YTC Chief Operating Officer (COO), now also becomes YCNA COO. In this expanded role he will add YTV and YTMX to his management responsibilities.
