Weather Guard has introduced the new Modular Truck Cap System, featuring 1Key UltraLock for maximum security against theft and advanced weather-resistant designs to keep equipment dry.
The modular design provides customizable configurations to meet unique needs and is compatible across multiple truck models, providing a seamless and adaptable solution.
“It is a fully modular system that includes a frame, high-sides, pass-throughs, a sliding ladder rack, and it allows for a contractor to get their truck back. By putting a truck cap on the back of the truck, it opens up the space that they needed to get their job done and stay organized,” said Jonathan Webster, channel marketing manager, Weather Guard.
The new Weather Guard Modular Truck Cap System, which was showcased during NTEA Work Truck Week 2025, extends the utility of a closed-in cap by providing many configurations while integrating with other Weather Guard products.
The system's rear door and roof are retractable, making it easier to transport larger items in the truck bed. Starting with the truck cap frame, popular configurations include adding high-sides, a sliding ladder rack, and a retractable cover.
“It is the most versatile modular truck cap in the market. It's weatherproof; it's weather-resistant and theft-resistant. And the modular design allows for you to design your system to whatever your truck needs,” Webster explained.
He said the Weather Guard Modular Truck Cap System will be available in December of 2025 and at launch, will be available for all domestic full-size trucks and multiple bed lengths.
