TORONTO – TransCore, which operates a North American freight-matching logistics service, adds Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) integration to its Link OpsCenter product, now a part of TransCore’s 3sixty Operations Management. Within OpsCenter, Canadian users can search for freight, import load information, and prepare all necessary documentation, including ACE electronic cargo manifest(s), which the system intuitively completes, eliminating the time-intensive need to re-key all data.

TransCore added the feature in response to the Jan. 25 2007, CBP implementation date requiring informed compliance at land border ports in Washington and North Dakota. CBP’s system will be phased-in with full compliance expected as early as Apr. 26 2007.

TransCore accelerated OpsCenter’s integration for ACE compliance so customers could easily transition to the U.S. mandated requirements to elevate security across land-based ports of entry. Previously, TransCore provided ACE compliance but only as a stand-alone capability. TransCore’s Link Logistics provides transportation services to more than 4,600 Canadian subscribers every day. Together, those subscribers make close to 2 million requests daily within the freight-matching database.
