Toyo Rolls Out New Long Haul Truck Tire

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.’s latest medium truck tire, the M137, is a premium steer radial for long haul applications.

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.’s latest medium truck tire, the M137, is a premium steer radial for long haul applications.

“This tire is designed to deliver more miles-per-32nds to operators,” said Toyo officials, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine. The M137 is a product of Toyo’s e-balance design technology “that focuses on a stiffer belt package, stiffer bead construction and optimization through simulation technology. Benefits include improved tire life, improved endurance, improved irregular wear resistance, and improved fuel consumption.”

During the tire’s operation, special cap and base tread compounds reduce heat at the belt edge and excessive heat build-up inside the tire structure.

The M137 is available in two sizes: 295/75R22.5 and 285/75R24.5.
