TROY, MI – TireStamp Inc. has added two new features to its TireVigil Tire Pressure Management solution for fleet customers. TireVigil is a tire management solution capable of detecting tire problems, alerting the fleet to them, and making recommendations to the service technician for corrective actions.

TireVigil Servicing allows a service technician to view the state of a vehicle’s tires at a glance on any Internet enabled computer or using a hand-held wireless device. Images of the vehicle’s tires are shown displaying tire position, tire pressure and temperature, target tire pressure, sensor, and tire I.D. The tire make, model, and tire mileage can also be accessed. The tire technician can enter tire changes with a touch on the screen or a click of a mouse. Manual data entry is virtually eliminated.

TireVigil Mobile provides all of the features and benefits of the normal computer-based TireVigil system using a cellular or Wi-Fi data connection without being tied down to a desktop computer. TireVigil Mobile can perform a vehicle tire pressure survey during a pre-trip inspection, while the vehicle is on the move, or as a part of regular vehicle service. TireVigil Mobile currently supports RIM Blackberry and any Windows Mobile 5.0 compatible Smartphone or handheld.
