Students pursuing careers in the skilled trades now have access to more than $60,000 in scholarships through The Hourglass Foundation’s 2026 scholarship program.
The nonprofit organization, part of Flexco Fleet Services’ philanthropic initiatives, opened the application window for several scholarship opportunities supporting students entering careers in automotive technology, repair, and other blue-collar skilled trades.
The scholarships are intended to help remove financial barriers for students pursuing hands-on careers in fields including automotive repair, diesel technology, HVAC, construction, plumbing, welding, and electrical work.
According to the foundation, providing access to technical education is one way to help close the skilled labor gap while creating long-term career opportunities for students.
“The Hourglass Foundation’s scholarship gifts enable hardworking, committed students to acquire an education they might not otherwise be able to afford,” said Kim Davidson, executive director of The Hourglass Foundation. “These programs give students the training and skill sets needed for strong employment opportunities and career growth."
What Does The Hourglass Foundation Scholarship Include?
