Stertil-Koni, provider of heavy-duty bus lifts and truck lifts, has continued its support of Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Bailey’s Café, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, with an additional $10,000 donation. The funds are targeted to provide a collaborative creative summer program for its members from neighborhoods across New York City.

The Café is well-known for bringing its vision to life through partnerships with local leaders and intergenerational volunteers – all focused on community-building through service, arts education, and inclusion.

Bailey's Café founder and director, Stefanie Siegel, notes: "For the past few years, Stertil-Koni's contributions have been invaluable to sustaining our thriving summer program. We have made some great enhancements to this year's offering that will make it even more of a success."

Topping the list is the Café's arts-based Rites of Passage summer program. Participants will produce a musical about authenticity in the age of social media, mental health, and media-driven anxiety. Siegel envisions the musical as a centerpiece of the program, with all of the Café's artistic disciplines making a contribution in creating the performance.

Siegel adds, "Stertil-Koni has been in partnership with Bailey's Café since the spring of 2015 and not only has the corporation consistently supported us through its annual donations, but Dr. Jean DellAmore came to meet with us to learn about the organization first-hand. He attended our annual fundraiser, and there is a personal connection beyond the monetary support, which is very important to us. We are honored to have them as a member of Bailey's Circle of Angel Donors and look forward to continuing to build our partnership."

In making today's announcement, Dr. Jean DellAmore, president of Stertil-Koni, notes, "Stertil-Koni is proud to join Bailey's Café in its journey of developing artistic talent and inspiring change through the arts. Its mission to create an atmosphere of collective awareness, respect, and responsibility, built on the talents and resources of the community, is fundamental to creating a better place for all to thrive."
