SHELTON, CT – OEM Data Delivery (OEM DD) has introduced the GSE Service Tracker, a radio-frequency technology that tracks and transmits to headquarters detailed information on dispensed fuel, equipment utilization, and equipment maintenance tasks. GSE Service Tracker tracks location, the equipment in service, date/time, work classification (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, etc.), and service tasks performed on passenger bridges and lifts, catering trucks, baggage handling systems, and fuel trucks. It is wireless and paperless.
Use and service alerts are tracked continuously via an on-site tower. The tower interfaces with a PDA data collector or computer. Data is typically downloaded into a Web report. The system operates continuously, providing management analytics for understanding what tasks are most time-consuming, what equipment requires the most service attention, and other metrics.
Lists are uploaded, and nonconforming items are flagged. Disposition is also tracked. A data management module can be programmed to generate e-mail alerts regarding specified events, trends, or benchmarks.
OEM DD’s radio-based technology empowers managers to track fuel dispensed to all vehicles, as well as the productivity and performance of every GSE unit. GSE Service Tracker Systems are customized to user requirements and can be implemented within a day. Training typically requires a few hours.
