Greenville, SC – The Pete Store, LLC announced plans to hold a Natural Gas Truck Forum in Greenville, South Carolina on July 24th.
The half-day event will take place at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Conference Center and includes speakers from Clean Energy, Cummins, Paccar Leasing, Peterbilt Motors, Pivotal LNG, and Westport Innovations.
“Natural gas has quickly become one of the most compelling technologies in our industry,” said Greg Arscott, General Manager for the company’s South Carolina operations. “From our standpoint, the most exciting thing about natural gas is that, financially speaking, it stands on its own two feet. Government assistance is helpful, but certainly not vital to making it viable for a fleet.”
In addition to an expert panel, a Peterbilt tractor equipped with a Westport 15-L GX liquefied natural gas (LNG) engine will be on site, giving attendees the opportunity to participate in ride-and-drives.
