These floor mats can unexpectedly shift forward and interfere with the movement of the accelerator pedal, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported. Unintended acceleration might result.
Omix-ADA will notify its wholesale customer and provide owners with a floor liner anchor and hook to secure the floor mats, free of charge. Owners may also have the floor liner anchor and hooks installed by an Omix-ADA-designated service center, also free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin Oct. 15. Owners can reach Omix-ADA customer service at 1-844-642-7625. The company's number for this recall is RRmat 1-14.
