Nexiq Technologies said that eTechnician, its PC-based diagnostic software that delivers diagnostic capability for engines, transmission, brakes, body and chassis, and more, now includes Mitchell 1’s Repair-Connect diagnostic information. Both companies are part of the Snap-on family of Total Shop Solution brands.
With the collaboration, eTechnician users gain immediate access to Repair-Connect’s engine fault code testing and repair procedures for all makes of Class 4–8 commercial trucks.
Repair-Connect provides:
“This combined suite of information ensures technicians get the information they need in a more streamlined, efficient process to successfully diagnose and repair vehicles,” said Dave Shock, Nexiq Technologies product manager. “Users can seamlessly navigate from one information source to the other through the eTechnician diagnostic tool, eliminating the need to toggle between two software programs.”
Benefits of eTechnician Subscription
With one eTechnician subscription, technicians can access information available from the vehicle through eTechnician, including diagnostic trouble codes, input data from sensors, and output data for components including fuel injectors and NOx Sensors.
Nexiq said as technicians proceed down the diagnostic path, they can rely on Repair-Connect to provide information about the vehicle, including component locations using high-quality photos, connector details, and specific component tests.
Also included are easy-to-navigate, simplified wiring diagrams that focus on components relevant to a specific diagnosis.
Repair operations can start a 14-day free trial by visiting the Nexiq Technologies website.
