Jasper has over 100 different stock numbers on hand, including turbos for popular diesel units such as the Ford/International 6.0L, 7.3L Powerstroke, Cummins ISB and Caterpillar engines, according to the company.
Jasper’s turbo remanufacturing process includes the complete disassembly of the housings, which are then oven-baked to over 700 degrees Fahrenheit to remove soot and debris from the casting. Each of the internal components is meticulously inspected and then balanced to ensure proper tolerances. The entire center section is reassembled and a high-speed core balancer is used to balance the entire rotating assembly at speeds in excess of 70,000 rpms.
A Jasper remanufactured turbocharger is covered by a one-year parts and labor warranty with no mileage restrictions.
