ANAHEIM, CA – Iteris, Inc.’s Lane Departure Warning (LDW) technology has been adopted as a standard feature by 12 commercial truck fleets across the country, several of which began installing the systems last year. The 12 fleets are located throughout the U.S. and Canada and range from LTLs to flat-bed carriers to regional short haul transportation companies. They include: Manitoulin Transport, TCW, Land O’ Frost, Inc., James Burg Trucking Co., Amhof Trucking, H. C Parrish Truck Service, Inc., Boyle Transportation, Truck Service Inc., Buesing Bulk, WEL Companies, WEL Freight Services, and Southeast Milk. Iteris has sold more than 30,000 LDW systems to the heavy truck market worldwide representing an estimated billion miles traveled per year. In the United States., there are currently 40 fleets, which include these 12, specifying Iteris’ LDW system with a combined fleet size of nearly 20,000 trucks and another 69 fleets with approximately 145,000 trucks conducting field tests.
