Ford is bringing workwear-inspired durability to its heavy-duty truck lineup with the introduction of the first-ever 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package.
Designed for contractors, tradespeople, and vocational truck users, the package combines functional upgrades and design elements inspired by Carhartt’s signature work apparel. Available on XLT Crew Cab single-rear-wheel 4x4 pickups, the package will be available to order beginning May 8.
The launch is also part of a broader partnership between Ford and Carhartt focused on supporting workforce development and skilled trades initiatives across the U.S. and Canada.

The 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package combines work-ready capability with Carhartt-inspired design details, including all-terrain tires, unique exterior accents, and a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner.

Built Around the Jobsite
The Super Duty Carhartt Package includes several work-focused exterior and interior upgrades, including a unique dark-painted grille, 20-inch machined-and-painted wheels, all-terrain tires, Off-Road Running Boards, LED lighting upgrades, and a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner stamped with the Carhartt logo.
Ford said the graphics package serves more than a styling purpose. Positioned lower on the truck, the textured Carhartt graphics are designed to help protect areas more prone to wear from mud, salt, road debris, and jobsite conditions.
The package will be offered in six exterior colors, including the new-for-2027 Neptune Blue. Other available colors include Marsh Gray, Oxford White, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Agate Black Metallic, and Iconic Silver Metallic.
Interior Draws From Carhartt Workwear
Inside, Ford designers incorporated materials and textures inspired by Carhartt’s workwear lineup, including seating surfaces modeled after the brand’s Duck Canvas material and triple-stitched detailing throughout the cabin. The interior also includes Carhartt-inspired floor mats, embroidered logos on the front headrests, and accent stitching on the steering wheel and console lid.
According to Ford, the interior materials were selected to balance durability with comfort for drivers who use their trucks daily in demanding environments.
In supporting materials, John Emmert, global director of Ford Pro, said the package was designed around functionality rather than appearance alone.
“It’s centered in function, not decoration,” Emmert said.
Emmert also noted that Ford and Carhartt designers collaborated to incorporate design cues inspired by jobsite environments and the workwear materials customers use every day.

Ford and Carhartt designed the 2027 Super Duty Carhartt Package for tradespeople and vocational truck users who rely on durability and functionality on the jobsite and beyond.

Detroit Roots and Workforce Focus
Ford and Carhartt said the collaboration reflects the shared heritage of two Detroit-area brands with longstanding ties to skilled trades and vocational workforces.
The companies are also using the launch to spotlight what they describe as “Essential Unsung Heroes,” recognizing workers across construction, utilities, agriculture, emergency services, and other industries that rely on heavy-duty trucks daily.
Beyond the vehicle itself, the partnership includes ongoing workforce development efforts tied to programs that support automotive technicians and skilled trades careers.
The 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package will be available starting in fall 2026.
