Also, during the conference, Al Barner, CTP, SVP, Fleet Solutions, will be hosting an innovation lab on Thursday, Sept. 15, discussing the best practices and tips for food distributors and heavy-duty truck fleets on how to overcome the biggest challenges in transportation. Barner has over 24 years of industry experience and has had the opportunity to learn from and help multiple clients’ operations.

For almost 20 years, the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) has been contributing to this mission of growth, development, and success in the food service distribution industry through its advocacy, events, research, and education. The organization said it continues to build a community among its members.

Fleet Advantage works behind the scenes to help food distribution operators overcome their existing challenges, according to the company. Whether it’s new driver and truck shortages, procurement strategies, residual values or achieving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, the company said its certified truck professionals help food distributors identify and adopt new processes to ensure long-term success.

“Fleet Advantage’s proven resources, tools, and strategies are extremely significant in providing food distributors with the solutions they need to address company-specific and industry-wide issues impacting their operations today,” said Brian Antonellis, CTP, Senior VP of fleet operations, for Fleet Advantage. “Our Fleet Services team looks forward to welcoming attendees to our booth and helping educate on the specifications, fleet portfolio, and operational strategies to better monitor fleet performance issues throughout the life cycle of the vehicle ultimately improving their bottom line.”
