Bollinger Motors Received Vehicle Orders for 40 B4, Class 4 EV trucks
Mullen Automotive announces that Bollinger Motors has received orders for 40 B4 Class 4 electric trucks, valued at approximately $6 million.
The B4 chassis cab is set to begin production in mid-2024 and is expected to qualify for a federal purchasing incentive of 30% of the vehicle cost, up to $40,000.
Merchants Fleet Adds 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EVs to Lineup
Merchants Fleet announces the addition of 250 model-year 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV Work Trucks to its electric vehicle lineup, offering them for lease and rental.
The Silverado EVs, built on the GM EV Ultium platform, are designed to meet the demands of hard work while providing functionality for business operators and managers on job sites.
This move underscores Merchants Fleet's commitment to offering a diverse range of electric vehicles, facilitating businesses of various types in transitioning to customized electric fleet solutions.
GreenPower Announces Delivery of 10 EV Star Cab and Chassis
GreenPower Motor Company announces the delivery of 10 EV Star Cab and Chassis vehicles at the end of the quarter ending December 31, 2023.
The all-electric GreenPower EV Star Cab and Chassis, designed for mid and last-mile delivery with zero emissions, offers a carrying capacity of 7,000 pounds and a range of up to 150 miles.
The vehicles underwent final assembly and inspection at GreenPower's facility in South Charleston, West Virginia, which also serves as a distribution hub for the East Coast in the United States and Canada.
Workhorse Group Receives Second Fleet Order for W56 Step Van
Workhorse Group announces receiving a second fleet purchase order for the W56 step van from a prominent commercial fleet operator.
The 15-vehicle order is set to be delivered in 2024 through Workhorse's dealer, Kingsburg Truck Center.
The W56 step van, designed for the commercial vehicle industry, has zero emissions, a payload capacity of up to 10,000 pounds, a range of 150 miles, and features like a spacious cargo box, lowered step-in, and an ergonomic cabin for delivery driver comfort.
Xos and ElectraMeccanica Propose Combining
Xos will acquire all the issued and outstanding common shares of electric vehicle designer ElectraMeccanica in an all-stock transaction.
The boards of directors of both companies have unanimously approved the proposed acquisition, which aims to address the increasing demand for zero-emission medium-duty electric trucks.
The deal will provide Xos access to ElectraMeccanica's cash balance, estimated to be around $48.5 million at the transaction's closing.
