Covercraft Industries, LLC announced the acquisition of Marathon Seat Covers, a manufacturer of custom-fit seat covers for the automotive industry. This latest acquisition enhances Covercraft’s pattern library and expands the company’s assortment of custom-fit automotive aftermarket seat covers.
Founded in 1978, Marathon Seat Covers’ products cater to outdoor enthusiasts, families and the hard-working pickup owner with seat covers that are durable, stylish and precisely fitted.
Since Covercraft partnered with Century Park Capital Partners in 2015, Marathon Seat Covers is the third acquisition to join Covercraft’s ever-increasing family of vehicle protection products. Last year, Covercraft added GT Covers, a highly respected manufacturer of premium-quality, precision-fit seat covers, and in 2016 added ADCO Products, the market leader in RV covers and protection accessories.
In addition to selling products under the Covercraft, ADCO, and GT Covers brands, the company also holds licenses for Ford, Carhartt, Winnebago, Airstream and Tommy Bahama.
