Diesel-powered vehicles no longer need a separate fuel supply for gas gen-sets.  Able to run on the same fuel system, the diesel Next Gen 5.5 kW Generator employs a heavy-duty, 2-cylinder Kubota engine.  Ideal for running power tools, the diesel-powered unit also offers a longer life, lower maintenance and better fuel efficiency than gasoline. 

Providing a quiet operation and easy installation, it comes complete with isolation mounts, fuel pump, safety shutdown, 40-amp alternator and dry air cleaner.  With a remote start/stop panel and harness, there's no need to open the compartment to operate the gen-set.  It can use a remote radiator or be plumbed through the truck's cooling system.  For 500-hour oil change intervals, an optional 5-quart oil pan is offered.

The advanced Next Gen 5.5 kW Generator has a suggested retail price of $4,495.  An optional welder generator configuration is also available.
