Blossman Gas, Inc. has acquired Southern Propane of Jacksonville, Fla., as the latest in a series of acquisitions by the fuel and fuel-systems provider.
The acquisition brings Blossman's customer base to 150,000, according to the company. Blossman now operates 74 stores. Blossman sells more than 90 million gallons of propane a year and owns Alliance AutoGas, which serves fleets looking to acquire or convert vehicles to run on the alternative fuel.
Blossman will continue to serve the Jacksonville market and will convert the store to a Blossman location at 5923 Soutel Drive.
